GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBLIGATIONS
Main focuses will be developing the training and educational division, Compliance Training Group (CTG) and assist in the overall strategic development of CTG and eLearning training programs.
CTG, a division of Diversified Risk Management, Inc., specializes exclusively in employee training programs, ranging from on-site bilingual instructor-led training to online learning programs for executives, supervisors and employees. CTG is an exciting service provider, assisting employers in meeting legal requirements, reducing risk and improving morale.

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW
- Facilitates workplace training and educational programs for C level-management and employees (e.g. Substance Abuse, Sexual Harassment, Workplace Violence, Workplace Diversity, Conflict Resolution, Team Building, etc.)
- Utilizes multimedia technology, eLearning authoring tools, and electronic performance support tools to develop instructional materials for customized training courses.
- Partner with subject matter experts in curriculum development, course design and material creation to develop and implement learning solutions that will improve business performance, outcomes and cost efficiencies.
- Ensures course material is intuitive, informative, and consistent with sound instructional design principles.
- Assesses training requirements and develops integrated training programs with clear prerequisites and progression tracks.
- Must have strong computer skills in MS Windows XP 2000 Office Professional, Excel, and be able to create PowerPoint presentations, forms, and collateral materials
- Manage Software Learning Programs: (intralearn Learning Management System (LMS), Articulate and GoTo Meeting, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- Prepare and write training curriculums and handouts/exams as necessary for online and live PowerPoint training and eLearning sessions
- Must possess excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to multitask, manage and coordinate all on-going training programs via eLearning software applications and live training
- Be an excellent communicator, facilitator, and have strong training development skills
- Must be able to manage the timely execution of presentations
- Traveling may be required when necessary throughout the US
- Must be able to conduct research, develop, write, and produce training materials to support company initiatives
- Writing: Excellent sentence structure, clarity, and creativity
- Excellent grammar/command of the English language (Spanish is a plus)
- Must be articulate and an effective communicator, energetic, friendly, and charismatic
- Manages stressful situations and people with diplomatically and professionalism
- Analytical- comfortable reading and interpreting material and translating it clearly, in easy-to understand language
- Great listener- remembers what he/she hears and is able to replicate it accurately and clearly
- Friendly service oriented and even-tempered
- Self-motivated and confident when working both in teams and independently Develop training strategies/plans and evaluate training program effectiveness by conducting a needs assessment with management
- Must be able to train and collaborate with extended and internal business partners to develop product information guides and instructional tools
- Must be familiar with the subject matter
- Must be able to utilize innovative training methodologies to develop cutting-edge training programs tailored to meet the Client’s needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, Education, Business or a related field
- Reliable transportation, valid drivers’ license, automobile insurance and able to commute or travel if necessary
- Bilingual is a plus
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Able to pass a thorough pre-employment background investigation and pre-employment drug screen test
- Experience in Marketing and Business Development is a plus
Work Hours
- Monday though Friday (unless workload dictates otherwise) 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, Sunday and Holidays (unless workload dictates otherwise)
- This position require the person to work from our Downey Office
Compensation
- Base salary $50K-$75+ with a performance review/pay increase in 90 days, health benefits (+vision and dental), 401K, vacation and paid holidays. We also have a structured bonus compensation program paid quarterly.
