Frank Faulk specializes in technical security. His focus is primarily forensic computer
analysis, Technical Surveillance Counter Measurers, (TSCM), and covert video applications
in support of investigations with other investigators and attorneys. Further, Mr. Faulk is
involved in covert surveillance techniques and hardware to support both law enforcement
agencies and specific needs of private sector clients. He has designed and implemented a
large scale remote digital video recording system that is utilized by various agencies to record
electronic intelligence and facilitate many investigations simultaneously.
Mr. Faulk has been at a managing level of security with various companies since the mid
1990’s. These companies have included ISP’s (Internet Service Providers), communication
facility providers and electrical automation engineering companies. Prior to that period, he
was a licensed alarm company, doing business as Security Protection Devices in the San
Fernando Valley and the Greater Los Angeles area. He has intermittently provided discrete
services for law enforcement since 1975. His military background was also, computer
intelligence in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969 – 1973.
Mr. Faulk’s education was formalized with many military electronics schools, some courses
with East Caroline University and computer forensic classes from Access Data (FTK),
Guidance Software (EnCase) and NetWitness. He has attended many equipment specific
training courses and security related seminars. He was listed in the 1988 edition of “Who’s
Who in Security”. During the late 1980’s he was one of the first regional training instructors
for the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association and has taught many in the security
industry ethics, safety, proper procedures and equipment related training. He has been a
guest speaker at California Lutheran College in Moorpark, California and Glendale Adventist
College in Glendale, California, discussing physical security aspects to law students and has
been the guest speaker at community based meetings. Presently, he is on the Advisory Board
at the Sylmar facility of ITT Technical Institute, School of Criminal Justice. Mr. Faulk holds
the internationally recognized credential, Certified Protection Professional. This credential
designates individuals who have demonstrated competency in all areas of consulting security
management.
