Currently on the Faculty Advisory Board, California State University, Dominguez Hills, California 1996-present, serving as a Visiting Professor in the Continuing Education for Human Resource Professionals program (a graduate-level, college-credit course for professionals seeking Certification as Senior Professionals in Human Resources) Fall 2005 semester.

As a Senior Investigator - conducted high-profile special investigations for employers, specializing in interviewing suspect employees and clearance of "very difficult to solve" cases, working with Labor and Employment Attorneys as contractor and associate (Senior Investigator) with two of Californias largest investigation firms prior to founding Allied Management Resources, Inc. (AMR).
Founded AMR, was President/CEO from 1992 until merged on July 1, 2005 with Diversified Risk Management, Inc. (DRM) of Downey, California. Currently with approximately 40 employees, we are the preferred investigation firm for many major labor and employment law firms and their clients, DRM conducts employment-related investigations, for employers, exclusively.
Kent Perkins, Managing Partner & Senior Executive Investigator of DRM, is quoted in HR Magazine , Money and Your Company Magazine on the subjects of internal corporate investigations and violent threat assessment, and has testified in Municipal, State, Superior and Federal Courts. He has spoken before law groups and employers associations on the subjects of theft, drugs, violence and other matters. He was keynote speaker before the National Labor Relations Boards annual conference in Washington DC on January 3, 2003.
