Diversified Risk Management, Inc. is seeking qualified and responsible candidates who are not apprehensive of challenges and are self-starters for undercover investigator jobs. The candidates should be highly motivated, organized, and have strong communication and people skills. We offer above average starting pay for both experienced and entry-level investigators. Candidates must be able to work all shifts, holidays and weekends if necessary. Once hired, employees may be required to travel 3-5 months at a time either out-of-state or within the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
An investigator's (operatives) primary job responsibilities will entail that they covertly obtain and report important information of interest to their assigned investigation supervisor. The information is communicated both verbally and electronically using an assigned laptop computer on a daily basis. In circumstances involving serious criminal matters, operatives will be under the controlled supervision of local, state, or federal law enforcement authorities in the primary jurisdiction. Every investigation will present new challenges for operatives. As an intricate member of the investigative team, operatives will gain knowledge and experience in many facets of workplace theft, and narcotics investigations. Often times, during an investigation an operative will make hand-to-hand buys of controlled substances and stolen property. These unique opportunities take years to secure if one were working in the public sector for a major metropolitan Police or Sheriff’s department.
